Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join one of the largest TMT practices. You will design electrical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients, project managers, and architects.

You will develop feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, and calculations, and participate in construction administration. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting, power, systems).
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, organize, and facilitate growth of junior staff.
• Lead electrical design for data center/mission critical projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team and interface with clients and project managers.
• Attend design meetings and lead electrical discussions.
• Develop feasibility studies, construction documents, specifications, and calculations.
• Support construction with field observations and RFI responses.
