Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (Electrical emphasis).
• Minimum 10 years in electrical design of buildings, lighting, power, or systems.
• PE or professional engineer license recognized by licensing board.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Support grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects from layout to construction package.
• Evaluate energy storage technologies and support vendor selection and implementation.
• Develop design plans, specs, cost estimates, and construction documents at design milestones for BESS.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, FLS, HV electrical, SCADA/telecom, water, and geotechnical engineers.
