Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support an Air Force program at Tinker AFB, OK. You will work on electrical/electronic systems for aeronautical vehicles, serving as a technical lead and advising leadership on sustaining engineering and system integration.

The role requires a DoW Top Secret clearance (SCI/SAP eligibility) and ABET-accredited engineering credentials with extensive DoD experience, plus up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Top Secret security clearance or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from ABET program with 12+ years in DoD roles.
• Or Master’s Degree with 10+ years in DoD roles; SAP/SCI experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Perform research, development, testing, evaluation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems for aeronautical platforms.
• Serve as technical expert and advise leadership on sustaining engineering.
• Develop and review system electrical/electronic design baselines and interoperability requirements.
• Translate requirements into system designs for software, electrical, and electronics.
• Provide integration support and participate in system and component testing.
• Read and generate changes to electrical and mechanical drawings; interpret CAD outputs.
• Develop technical papers and present concepts to the program team.
• Support program documentation and conduct technical evaluations of proposals.
• Perform risk assessments and mitigation planning.
