Job summary

Serco seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK. You will lead electrical system development for aeronautical platforms and advise leadership on sustainment engineering issues.

The role requires an active DoW Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility and a BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an ABET accredited program (or equivalent Master’s). Travel up to 10% CONUS may be required.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• ABET-accredited Electrical/Electronics Engineering degree.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with DoD/DoD contractor experience.
• Minimum 12 years (Bachelor) or 10 years (Master) in engineering roles with DoD or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, development, testing, evaluation, operation and maintenance of electrical systems on aeronautical platforms.
• Serve as technical expert and advise leadership on sustainment engineering issues.
• Develop and review electrical design baselines and interoperability requirements.
• Translate user needs into system requirements for software and hardware.
• Provide integration support and demonstrate familiarity with USAF processes and V-diagram.
• Evaluate test plans and participate in system testing activities.
• Contribute to depot/field engineering support and root cause analysis.
• Review drawings and model MBSE concepts; communicate technical concepts to teams.
• Develop program documentation, technical papers, and conduct evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Perform risk assessments and craft mitigation plans.
