Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK.

The role focuses on research, development, testing, and sustainment of electrical/electronic systems for aeronautical vehicles and related ground platforms. The candidate must hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, have an ABET-accredited degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, and possess 12+ years of engineering experience with DoD or a DoD contractor.

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility and ability to obtain
ABET-accredited Electrical/Electronics Engineering degree required (B.S. or higher)
12+ years engineering experience with DoD or DoD contractor OR 10+ years with M.S. in a relevant field

Responsibilities

Perform development, testing, evaluation, and maintenance of electrical/electronic systems for aeronautical platforms.
Provide expert technical guidance to leadership on sustaining engineering and architecture decisions.
Translate user requirements into system requirements for hardware, software, and electronics design.
Support system/subsystem integration and verification across programs using USAF processes.
Conduct technical risk assessments and develop mitigation plans; participate in root-cause analyses.
