Job summary

MR Power Systems is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead a team, ensure technical quality of studies, and mentor specialists. The role supports flexible hours and remote work, with occasional client-site visits.

You will oversee digital twins development, perform core studies, and contribute to international projects across Europe/EMEA. Strong IEC/IEEE knowledge and English communication are essential for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must-have: degree in electrical/power engineering; 5–7 years in advanced power system studies.
• Must-have: proficiency in ETAP, DIgSILENT or SKM.
• Must-have: knowledge of IEC, IEEE and CENELEC standards.
• Must-have: strong communication skills and willingness to lead others.
• Nice-to-have: proficiency in an additional EU language; training or public speaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for digital twins using ETAP, SKM, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, Caneco and EOM.
• Perform and review load flow analysis, protection coordination, harmonic analysis and arc flash risk assessments (IEEE 1584).
• Ensure high quality of assessments and reports.
• Mentor and develop the engineering team and share best practices.
• Support sales as a technical expert in client discussions.
