Job summary

Southern Recruiting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide electrical expertise within the design team and serve as the primary contact for electrical project issues.

The role requires applying electrical theory to project lifecycles and delivering timely, within-budget results. You will perform detailed calculations, design systems, select components, finalize BOMs, and prepare submittals.

Qualifications

• BSEE required with 3+ years in power/lighting/UPS/grounding/utility systems design.
• Ability to apply NEC, UL, ANSI, TDLR and other codes to daily tasks.
• Able to read electrical symbols, interpret drawings and modify diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design expertise to the design team and be the primary contact for electrical project issues.
• Perform electrical calculations for breakers, fuses, transformers, conductors and loads.
• Design electrical systems, select components, prepare BOMs, submit materials and review design packages.
• Interface with sales, customer and shop; direct designers on wiring diagrams; develop ITP and assist in FAT.
