Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to develop electrical and instrumentation design deliverables across the full plant scope, including Reactor and Power Distribution. You will own drawings end-to-end, from development through checking, and mentor junior designers and contractors.

This role requires expertise in electrical design standards, NEC/IEC, and experience with CAD tools like EPLAN and AVEVA Electrical.

Qualifications

• Must have associate degree or technical diploma in electrical design or engineering technology; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and instrumentation design deliverables across Reactor, Nuclear Fuel, Power Distribution scopes.
• Produce control panel layouts, grounding, and lightning protection drawings.
• Review vendor drawings and provide clarifications to ensure compliance with project standards.
