Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Staff Electrical Designer to act as a technical authority across Reactor, Nuclear Fuel, Power Conversion, and Power Distribution. You will own CAD standards, lead drawing checks, and mentor designers, ensuring design quality and safety across projects and sites.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical/I&C design, strong proficiency with EPLAN and AVEVA Electrical, and an engineering degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electrical design.
• 8+ years of electrical or I&C design experience.
• Ownership of complete electrical/I&C drawing scope on major project.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve drawing packages; enforce CAD standards.
• Lead design solutions for complex installation challenges.
• Mentor designers and contribute to CAD training.
