Job summary
Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead MV/LV electrical system design for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities. You will set standards, perform power system analyses, and guide substation and protection design, while engaging with clients and regulators.
You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with I&C, civil, and safety teams to ensure flawless design delivery and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 5+ years of progressive MV/LV design leadership experience.
- Experience with power system analysis software (SKM/ETAP) for load flow, short circuit, protection coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of MV/LV electrical systems for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities.
- Set engineering standards and direct power system studies.
- Lead substation design from concept through detailed engineering.
- Manage vendor programs, bid evaluations, and factory audits.
- Coordinate with I&C, civil, and regulatory teams on layout and safety.
