Valar Atomics is seeking Staff Electrical Designers in the United States to own complex electrical and instrumentation drawing packages for Reactor, Nuclear Fuel, Power Conversion, and Power Distribution scopes. You will establish CAD standards, manage database architecture, and mentor the design team to ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.

Formación

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electrical design, drafting, or engineering technology; Bachelor's degree in engineering a plus.
• 8+ years of electrical or I&C design experience in power generation, process industries, or industrial facilities.
• Ownership of complete electrical/ I&C drawing scope on at least one major capital project.
• Expertise with EPLAN and AVEVA Electrical at administration level.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 and safety-related design requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a design discipline technical authority; check and approve drawing packages from other designers.
• Own CAD standards, templates, symbol libraries, and data architecture; enforce consistency.
• Lead design solutions for first-of-a-kind installation challenges and unusual routing.
• Define drawing production strategy and oversee contractor drafting activities.
• Mentor designers, participate in hiring and technical interviews.
