Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead MV/LV electrical design for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities. You will set engineering standards, supervise studies, and manage substation and protection design while engaging with clients and regulatory bodies.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with I&C and civil teams, and review vendor drawings and QA plans. This role demands technical precision and a strong safety culture in a fast-growing energy startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 8+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience with leadership of MV/LV design.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software (SKM/ETAP) including load flow and protection coordination.
• Ability to lead substation design from concept to detailed engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of MV/LV electrical systems for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and review protective relaying settings and coordination plots.
• Coordinate with I&C, civil, and structural teams on layout and interfaces.
• Manage vendor programs, bids, and factory audits for safety-critical equipment.
• Mentor and oversee junior engineers and deliverables at design reviews.
