Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced electrical distribution engineer in Lexington, KY who will lead design and analysis for overhead and underground networks (4 kV through 34 kV). The role involves coordinating with clients and internal disciplines, developing work packages, and providing QA/QC on construction packages.

Ideal candidates have 9+ years in electric utility distribution or related fields, a PE license (preferred), and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Requires a degree in engineering.
• 9+ years of experience in electric utility distribution.
• PE license is a plus.
• Five or more years of experience in physical distribution design methods and their application.
• Knowledgeable in codes, standards, and distribution software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, PoleForeman).
• Experience with complex overhead/underground distribution projects (120/208V through 34kV).
• Experience serving as firm/client liaison in a lead engineering role.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction sketches and details for overhead and underground network services (4 KV through 34 KV).
• Designs overhead URD and underground network services (4 KV through 34 KV).
• Analyze and design priority feeds.
• Plan modifications to the distribution system and oversee complex engineering tasks.
• Develop work packages and monitor progress.
• Provide QA/QC onConstruction packages and oversee entry-level engineers.
• Coordinate and lead meetings with clients and internal teams.
