Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Program and Compliance Assurance Leader across the Americas. The role leads the implementation of EHS programs, audits, and compliance efforts across sites with up to 50% travel, driving standard work and safety culture.

Responsibilities include coordinating PSM programs, driving regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT, and partnering with the EHS director and SBUs to advance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of direct EHS management and supervisory responsibility.
• Proven skills within implementation of complex safety programs and procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the OSHA, PSM, EPA, and DOT regulations, experience in the Interpretation of local and state environmental and safety and standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS Standard Work is implemented and layered audits are conducted.
• Manage and implement the EHS Management System requirements across the Region.
• Supports the launch of all activities needed to incorporate standard work.
• Develop a culture of process discipline around leaders following standard work.
• Develop EHS & business Leaders to create, implement, and sustain EHS standard work at each site across the Region.
• Manage & Implement Process Safety Management (PSM) at locations where required ensuring systems, procedures, competency, and best practices are applied.
