Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety Program Leader for the Americas to lead and track EHS programs, including PSM, across locations. You will provide strategic direction, oversee audits, and ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards.

This role travels up to 50% and drives standard work adoption, while coaching site leadership to reduce incidents. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of EHS leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of direct EHS management and supervisory responsibility.
• Proven skills within implementation of complex safety programs and procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the OSHA, PSM, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS Standard Work is implemented and layered audits are conducted per BOS requirements.
• Manage and implement EHS Management System requirements across the Region.
• Support launch of activities to incorporate standard work.
• Develop a culture of process discipline around leaders following standard work.
• Develop EHS & business leaders to create, implement, and sustain EHS standard work at sites across the Region.
• Manage and implement Process Safety Management (PSM) where required ensuring systems and best practices.
• Onboard and develop internal PSM resources at plant locations.
• Interface with PSM consultants to drive program development and implementation.
• Assist sites during PSM audits and close findings.
