Job summary

Trane Technologies Minneapolis location is seeking an Environmental, Health, & Safety Leader to manage the EH&S function aligned with company requirements. This on-site, safety-sensitive role reports to the Aftermarket Leader.

You will lead safety programs, audits, training, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement across facilities. Requires 8+ years EHS experience and a Bachelor's in Safety-related field, with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of EHS experience with relevant degree or equivalent.
• Proven track record in safety program development and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Experience with safety training and incident investigations.
• Experience in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead continuous safety improvements and culture.
• Experience with project management and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of HVAC/Mechanical contracting beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze safety data to lead continual improvement efforts.
• Recommend changes to protect workers and educate employees.
• Measure effectiveness of safety programs against goals.
• Investigate accidents and implement preventive measures.
• Provide coaching and mentoring on safety initiatives.
• Organize and conduct safety training.
• Perform regular audits of offices, warehouses, and job sites.
• Identify best practices and lead improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate safety programs and long-term planning.
• Maintain safety records per OSHA and IR procedures.
• Implement corporate EH&S policies and procedures.
• Oversee workers' compensation program and return-to-work.
• Network with regional EHS leaders and sales offices.
• Contribute to corporate safety policy development.
