Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Regional Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to promote and maintain environmental safety and health programs for employees. The role covers wellness, security, and safety during work across multiple sites, with travel up to 60% across the region.

You will lead safety processes, conduct site inspections, and ensure documentation compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulations, while implementing Trane safety policies and coordinating annual training.

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in safety-related field; professional certification desired.
• 3+ years of EH&S management experience at a medium-large site preferred.
• Knowledge of Cal-OSHA, EPA, MSHA, DOT and related standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and EH&S data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety process efforts across commercial offices as directed by Regional EHS Leader.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and jobsite visits with technicians.
• Maintain OSHA/DOT/enviro records in compliance with regulations and Trane procedures.
• Implement safety policies; ensure compliance with local/state/federal rules.
• Analyze safety data to drive continual improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Develop and conduct annual safety training; coordinate regional training programs.
• Oversee PPE procurement and training; update databases and inspections.
• Participate in safety policy development and corporate teams as needed.
• Manage workers' compensation program administration and return-to-work processes.
• Travel up to 60% across the region; rotate through regional offices.
