Smithfield Foods is seeking a Regional Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and environmental programs across multiple facilities. The role includes ensuring compliance with federal regulations and managing incidents while supporting facility EHS teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of relevant experience, and strong leadership skills. Excellent communication and knowledge of OSHA regulations are essential. This position offers a salary range of $120,000 - $162,500 annually and a relocation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership experience is required.
• Ability to make strategic decisions in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage EHS programs across facilities.
• Conduct environmental management reviews and efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and corporate requirements.
• Report incidents to the EHS Operations Director.
• Lead corporate audit teams to evaluate risks and implement safety programs.
• Manage claim costs and participate in case management reviews.
• Assure all required training is implemented and up-to-date.
