Job summary

ERM, the world’s largest dedicated team of EHS professionals, is seeking a Consulting Senior Associate, EHS in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexible locations across Menlo Park, San Jose, Oakland, and nearby cities. You will lead onsite client support, conduct EHS risk assessments, and help shape safer workplaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in EHS fields.
• 1+ year of relevant EHS experience.
• Ability to travel across San Francisco Bay Area (San Jose, Santa Clara, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Driver's license required.
• Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite client support to address pressing EHS challenges.
• Perform audits, assessments, and safety process improvements in areas such as Behavior-Based Safety, Chemical & Lab Safety, Electrical Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Robotics Safety, Process Hazard Assessments, LOTO.
• Assist in developing and implementing programs for HazCom, IIPP, PSM, and more.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are in place.
• Manage projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality results.
