Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consulting Senior Associate, EHS in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility to base in Menlo Park, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco, Santa Clara, or Sunnyvale. You will deliver hands-on EHS programs, perform risk assessments, and help clients comply with federal, state, and local regs, while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in environmental science, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field required or 2 years of related work experience.
• 1+ year of relevant EHS experience and ability to travel across SF Bay Area.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite client support to address pressing EHS challenges.
• Perform audits, assessments, and safety process improvements (e.g., chemical safety, industrial hygiene).
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and travel to client locations across the Bay Area.
