Job summary

ERM, the world’s leading sustainability consultancy, is hiring a Consulting Senior Associate, EHS in the San Francisco Bay Area. You’ll deliver onsite client support, conduct audits, and help shape safer workplaces across tech, biotech, manufacturing and energy sectors.

This role requires travel across the SF Bay Area and beyond, with a California base and flexibility to work from several Bay Area locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (2 years = 1 year education) in environmental science, safety, or related field.
1+ year of relevant experience.
Ability to travel across San Francisco Bay Area and nearby regions.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Driver’s License required for frequent travel to client locations.
Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM.
Knowledge of California-specific EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

Deliver onsite client support and help implement EHS programs.
Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations.
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with global teams on hazards, chemical management, industrial hygiene, etc.
Build strong client relationships as a trusted EHS partner.
