Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior EH&S Technician located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. You will implement EH&S programs and support the Path2Zero initiative to drive the company’s decarbonization goals at this site.

The role requires hands-on environmental, IH, and health and safety activities, with oversight of EH&S procedures and standards. Join a team focused on safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of EH&S or related experience.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, day-to-day EH&S programs using established work processes.
• Ensures EH&S aspects are applied to meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S information, procedures, guidelines.
• Serves as plant contact for EH&S issues.
• Coaches teams on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs monitoring, data collection, and reporting for the plant.
