Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior EH&S Technician located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. You will implement EH&S programs, serve as the plant resource for EH&S information, and coach teams to achieve safety goals.

The role supports the Path2Zero program as part of Dow's decarbonization strategy, with a focus on environmental and health & safety responsibilities at a major site.

Qualifications

• Minimum a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or other relevant experience.
• Canada-based position requires ability to work legally in Canada; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, day-to-day EH&S programs using established work processes.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline meet performance goals.
• Acts as Plant resource for EH&S information, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting.
