Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior EH&S Technician located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, supporting the Path2Zero program and Dow's decarbonization strategy.

You will implement detailed EH&S programs, serve as the plant resource for procedures and standards, and coach teams to improve safety and compliance while collaborating with operations and IH activities.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing EH&S programs and work processes.
• Proficient in environmental, IH, and H&S activities.
• Ability to work legally in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, task level EH&S programs and work processes.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline are adequate and applied to meet goals.
• Acts as the Plant resource for EH&S information, procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting.
