Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior EH&S Technician located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. The role focuses on implementing the EH&S management system and providing hands-on environmental, industrial hygiene, and health and safety activities for the plant.

You will serve as a plant resource for procedures and standards, coach teams, and help achieve EH&S goals while ensuring compliance. This position supports the Path2Zero program and the company's decarbonization strategy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in EH&S, OH&S or related field.
• Authorized to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement EH&S programs using work processes, standards and procedures.
• Ensure EH&S aspects meet performance goals; act as section owner.
• Serve as plant resource for EH&S procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Act as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health & Safety issues.
• Coach teams on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Help develop and achieve EH&S goals for area or plant.
• Ensure completion of compliance tasks.
• Perform environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, and reporting.
