Job summary

Dow seeks a Senior EH&S Technician to support the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero program in Alberta, Canada. The role focuses on implementing EH&S programs, ensuring compliance, and acting as a plant resource for environmental, IH and health and safety guidance.

The successful candidate will coach teams, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate monitoring and reporting activities to help achieve decarbonization and safety objectives at the site.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED equivalently.
• Minimum 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed EH&S programs day-to-day using established work processes.
• Ensures EH&S, IH and Health & Safety aspects meet performance goals; act as section owner where applicable.
• Acts as Plant resource for EH&S information, procedures and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs/coordinatess certain Environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting.
