Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician for the Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta site to implement EH&S programs and support the Path2Zero decarbonization initiative. You will act as a plant resource for EH&S information, procedures, guidelines, and standards while coaching teams on safe work practices.

The role requires hands-on environmental, IH, and health and safety activities, with experience in root cause investigations and continuous improvement as part of the site’s Path2Zero program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or other relevant experience.
• Ability to work legally in Canada; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, task level EH&S programs using the EH&S work process, standards and procedures.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline are applied to meet performance goals; may act as section owner for EH&S.
