Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior EH&S Technician based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. You will implement EH&S programs, serve as the plant resource for EH&S guidelines, and support Path2Zero objectives as part of Dow's decarbonization strategy.

You will coach teams, drive safety improvements, ensure compliance and collaborate with operations to meet environmental and health & safety goals at the site.

Qualifications

• EH&S knowledge to implement and maintain work processes.
• Ability to organize work and manage stakeholders expectations.
• Lead and participate in change management for EH&S initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Implement day-to-day EH&S programs using established work processes.
• Ensure Environmental, IH and Health & Safety aspects meet performance goals.
• Serve as plant resource for EH&S information and act as a contact for related issues.
• Coach teams on EH&S tasks and safety practices.
• Develop and achieve area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensure compliance tasks are completed.
• Monitor and report Environmental and IH data for the plant.
