Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. You will implement the EH&S management system, provide hands-on environmental, IH, and health and safety activities for the plant, and act as a resource for procedures and standards.

This role supports the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero program, a key element in Dow's decarbonization strategy, with opportunities to coach teams and improve EH&S performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of EH&S or OH&S experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed EH&S programs at the plant using established work processes and procedures.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline meet performance goals and serves as section owner for EH&S areas.
• Acts as the plant resource for EH&S information, procedures, guidelines and standards.
