Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta to support the Path2Zero program and drive EH&S excellence across the plant. You will implement detailed programs, coach staff, and act as the main EH&S resource for procedures and standards.

The role requires hands-on environmental, IH and health and safety activities with a focus on continuous improvement and ensuring compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of EH&S or related experience.
• Eligibility to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed EH&S programs and work processes daily.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operations meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S information and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH and H&S issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks.
• Assists in developing and achieving EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs or coordinates EH monitoring, data collection and reporting.
