Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician for the Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta site to implement and maintain EH&S work processes and support plant operations. The role includes on‑site environmental, IH and health & safety activities to meet business objectives and maintain the license to operate.

This position supports the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero program as part of Dow's decarbonization strategy, requiring hands‑on expertise and the ability to coach teams while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years EH&S/OH&S experience or related.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed EH&S programs and work processes.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operations are applied to meet goals.
• Serves as plant resource for EH&S procedures and standards.
• Acts as plant contact for Environmental, IH and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Helps develop and achieve area EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs environmental and IH monitoring, data collection and reporting.
