Job summary

Dow has an exciting Senior EH&S Technician opportunity in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. You will implement EH&S programs, support the Path2Zero initiative, and act as a resource for environmental, IH, and health and safety information for the plant.

You will coach teams, drive continuous improvement through root cause investigations, and ensure compliance with EH&S standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Fort Saskatchewan location with strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or other relevant experience.
• Canada-based position requires ability to work legally in Canada; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, task-level EH&S programs using the EH&S work process, standards and procedures.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline are adequate and applied to meet performance goals.
• Acts as the Plant resource for EH&S information on procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs/coordinates Environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting.
