Job summary

Dow seeks a Senior EH&S Technician for the Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada. You will implement EH&S programs, act as a plant resource for EH&S information, and support the Path2Zero initiative as part of Dow's decarbonization strategy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or other relevant experience.
• Canada-based candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, day-to-day EH&S programs using established work processes, standards and procedures.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline are applied to achieve performance goals.
• Acts as the Plant resource for EH&S information, procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs or coordinates Environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting for the Plant.
