Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior EH&S Technician located in Fort Saskatchewan (Alberta, Canada). The role focuses on implementing the EH&S management system and providing hands-on environmental, IH, and health and safety activities for a plant.

It supports the Path2Zero program and Dow's decarbonization strategy, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. The position requires the ability to coach teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing EH&S work processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Ability to organize work, multi-task and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to lead change management initiatives in EH&S programs.
• Capability to coach others on safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Implements day-to-day EH&S programs following established processes.
• Ensures EH&S aspects are applied to meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S information and guidelines.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs or coordinates environmental and IH monitoring, data collection and reporting.
