Job summary

Dow has a Senior EH&S Technician role in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. You will implement EH&S programs, coordinate monitoring and data reporting, and act as the plant resource for procedures and standards, driving safety and compliance across the site.

The role focuses on the Path2Zero program as part of Dow's decarbonization strategy, with opportunities to coach teams, improve processes and ensure regulatory adherence in a large industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or related experience.
• Canada work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, day-to-day EH&S programs.
• Ensures EH&S aspects are applied to meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S procedures and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety issues.
• Coaches teams on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Performs Environmental and IH monitoring, data collection and reporting.
