Job summary

CGS Federal seeks a Senior eDiscovery Technical Advisor to join a fast-paced legal team handling civil and criminal discovery, FOIA, and Congressional requests. You will guide preservation, collection, processing, and production of ESI using specialized tools and collaborate with attorneys and FBI personnel.

You will work with Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, and Veritas eDiscovery Platform, developing case-specific discovery plans and ensuring accurate Bates numbering and load

Qualifications

• 5+ years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions.
• 3+ years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders and team players.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment.
• Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil and criminal litigation, FOIA, and Congressional requests.
• Support criminal discovery with ESI collection and processing.
• Serve as the expert technical user of eDiscovery applications (Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, Veritas).
• Develop discovery plans with the litigation team (date ranges, keywords, custodians).
• Collect data from FBI storage locations in accordance with discovery plans and support attorneys and agents.
• Analyze search/collection results for data gaps.
• Administer inputs into electronic discovery review platform (eDP).
• Coordinate collection results with FBI units and provide training on eDiscovery tools.
• Provide information and guidance on FBI process for identifying, preserving, collecting, analyzing, and organizing ESI.
• Document electronic discovery plans and procedures for each case.
• Facilitate requests for legal hold implementation and lifting in LHMT.
• Provide eDiscovery collections on criminal cases.
