Job summary

CGS is seeking an eDiscovery Technical Advisor to join a fast-paced legal team. The role focuses on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil and criminal matters, FOIA requests, and congressional inquiries.

You will work with Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, and the Veritas eDiscovery Platform, developing discovery plans and ensuring Bates numbering and load file quality for productions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions.
• 3+ years of progressive, more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with eDiscovery teams and business leaders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience with EDRM processes and familiarity with FBI eDiscovery needs.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience; JD highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI for civil/criminal litigation and FOIA requests.
• Support criminal discovery with ESI handling and production readiness.
• Serve as expert technical user of Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, and Veritas eDiscovery Platform.
• Develop discovery plans with search parameters for cases.
• Collect data from FBI IT systems per the discovery plan to support agency attorneys and case agents.
• Analyze search results for data gaps and ensure production quality with Bates numbering and load files.
• Coordinate discovery results with FBI units processing for review/redaction/release.
• Provide training and technical assistance on eDiscovery tools and processes.
