Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Economic Development, Urban Planning, Commercial Real Estate, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Five to seven years progressively responsible work experience in economic development or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop business attraction strategies to position Atlanta as a premier destination.
• Identify key industries for attraction using data analysis and trends.
• Engage high-level stakeholders including private companies and site selection professionals.
• Oversee complex economic development projects and mentor junior staff.
• Conduct financial modeling and tax incentive analyses to assess feasibility and impact.
• Facilitate public-private partnerships with corporate leaders and city officials.
• Navigate regulatory and incentive structures for project success.
• Develop KPIs and report findings to Invest Atlanta Board and City Council.
• Plan and lead participation in trade missions and events.
• Provide leadership and development to the team.
