Nationwide is seeking an experienced Underwriter for Excess & Surplus/Specialty lines. The role involves analyzing complex risks, pricing, and endorsements to protect client needs while meeting business goals.

The position emphasizes collaboration with agents and program managers in a fast-paced, evolving market. The ideal candidate has a degree and professional certifications; significant experience in underwriting, risk assessment, and reinsurance concepts is valued.

Formación

• Underwriting knowledge of lines, practices and procedures.
• Ability to analyze risks and determine acceptability and pricing.
• Familiarity with reinsurance concepts and agency systems.
• Effective communication with agents, programs and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Review risks and determine accept/decline with guidance; set premiums and endorsements.
• Meet production, profitability and service goals for assigned territory.
• Process policy maintenance, endorsements and loss-control recommendations.
• Develop relations with general agents and support marketing efforts.
