Qualifications

• Six years related experience or five years as an underwriter preferred.
• Experience with Commercial E&S/Excess & Surplus lines.
• Ability to analyze risks and determine acceptability, pricing, coverage, and terms.

Responsibilities

• Review risks with agents or programs and decide on acceptance or declination.
• Develop premium charges and endorsements to address loss exposures.
• Coordinate reinsurance placement per guidelines and monitor risk selection.
• Support product/forms development and marketing campaigns for underwriting.
• Collaborate with product/tech partners to implement product enhancements in systems.
• Travel for audits, training or marketing visits as required.
