• Minimum of 5 years underwriting E&S construction business.
• Experience underwriting middle-market construction accounts.
• Demonstrated ownership of a book of business, ideally $3M-$5M+.
• Experience marketing to brokers and developing business relationships.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate new and renewal policy applications and related documents, classify risk, assign rating, endorsements and limits, and determine pricing.
• Respond to broker inquiries within designated timeframes and serve as underwriting resource.
• Create and maintain bound files, worksheets, and communications per guidelines.
• Adhere to underwriting authority directives and company policies.
