Tokio Marine HCC International is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Underwriter with a middle-market focus to develop and manage a profitable construction book. This remote role requires a strong background in E&S construction and the ability to grow a territory with minimal supervision.

You will evaluate applications, determine acceptability and pricing, while adhering to company guidelines and underwriting authority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years E&S construction underwriting experience
• Experience underwriting middle-market contractor accounts
• Pursuing professional designations (CPCU/CIC/RPLU/AU) preferred

Responsabilités

• Evaluate new and renewal policy applications and related documents to classify and assess risk
• Assign rating, endorsements, and pricing based on guidelines
• Maintain documentation and underwriting worksheets and files
• Adhere to underwriting authority directives and company policies
• Develop understanding of rating factors influencing policy pricing
