Tokio Marine HCC is seeking an experienced Senior E&S Construction Underwriter to build and manage a profitable middle-market construction book. This remote role emphasizes developing broker relationships, growing a regional book, and making underwriting decisions with minimal supervision.

You bring at least 5 years of E&S construction underwriting experience, a strong production and business-development mindset, and a track record of growing a sizeable book of business.

Qualifikationen

• Must have E&S construction underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting middle-market construction accounts.
• Ownership of a sizeable book of business ($3M–$5M+).

Aufgaben

• Evaluate new and renewal policy applications and classify risk, determine acceptability, assign rating, endorsements and limits, and determine appropriate pricing.
• Contact and respond to broker inquiries within designated timeframe to provide information and underwriting support.
• Create and maintain all documentation (files, worksheets, communications) per guidelines.
• Adhere to underwriting authority directives and guidelines.
• Approve or deny within given authority or recommend actions to higher authority.
• Cultivate relationships to facilitate underwriting and business development, stay current on industry trends.
• Serve as a resource to staff on procedures and guidelines.
• Develop understanding of factors influencing policy rating and risk.
