Job summary

Avalara is expanding a high-performing team of e-invoicing sales experts. As a Senior E-Invoicing Sales Executive, you will help multinational businesses stay compliant with real-time tax compliance and live reporting mandates.

You will apply your SaaS sales expertise, identify opportunities globally, and build strong partner relationships while reporting to the Sales Director, E-invoicing, based in EMEA. This is a remote role with global impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software sales experience with track record of meeting quotas.
• Background in e-invoicing software sales.
• Background in SaaS sales.
• Knowledge of the e-invoicing market including mandates.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with industry trends and regulations in e-invoicing and transaction taxes; provide SME guidance to prospects and colleagues.
• Identify and target potential customers within the e-invoicing market and present Avalara's solutions.
• Develop a sales strategy tailored to the e-invoicing sector leveraging Avalara's differentiators.
• Understand client needs and tailor Avalara's software solutions accordingly.
• Establish and maintain long-lasting customer relationships as a trusted advisor through the sales cycle.
• Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and drive revenue growth for Avalara.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Account Managers to win business globally.
