Job summary

Avalara is seeking a Sales Executive to drive net new sales growth for Avalara's cloud-based tax compliance solutions. You will work with partners and customers, manage the full sales cycle, and report to the Director of Sales. Must reside in CA.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in tax/fintech sales, strong quota attainment, and experience with ERP/E‑Commerce/Billing solutions. Remote-friendly with regional pay ranges.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of successful B2B sales in Tax Compliance or FinTech.
• Experience with high velocity and complex selling.
• Proven quota attainment.
• Consultative, solution-based selling.
• Experience with financial/accounting apps or hosted software.
• Knowledge of ERP, E‑Commerce, Billing/POS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Increase net new sales growth for Avalara's solutions.
• Sell to partner ecosystem and end customers with a holistic solution set.
• Manage sales process from qualification to close.
• Maintain knowledge of Avalara's solutions and market.
• Document activities in Salesforce and manage the sales pipeline.
