Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the Prime Program within the Digital Technology PMO. This hybrid role partners with DT leaders and RTX enterprise services to align multiple business units under one governance model and deliver complex systems and services.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of program management experience, strong scheduling with MS Project, and a proven ability to manage budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
• 3+ years’ experience with project management oversight of infrastructure and software development initiatives.
• 3+ years’ experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of committed projects in the portfolio and manage scope, risk, and financial reporting.
• Lead risk mitigations and issue resolution and drive stakeholder communications across the portfolio.
• Partner with Digital leaders for resource assignments and integrated schedules.
• Oversee program financials with controllers and analysts to ensure delivery to plan.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and teams to deliver complex systems and services.
