Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Manager to lead DoD research and development programs and externally funded technology initiatives. You will drive cross-functional teams, pursue new opportunities, and align roadmaps across Collins SBUs, delivering strategic capabilities for the defense sector.

The role is onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA, with travel and security clearances required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional program teams and delivering commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple external program efforts and internally funded tech work.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across locations and time zones.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and transition plans for DoD programs.
• Oversee pursuit, order, capture activities and strategic workshop planning.
• Meet contractual, financial, technical, and schedule commitments.
