Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the Prime Program, aligning strategic and functional units under one governance model. You will partner with Collins DT Leaders and RTX Enterprise Services to drive execution of complex, multi-team initiatives.

Hybrid role with on-site and off-site collaboration. Requires 8+ years in related PM roles, MSP planning skills, and travel ~25%. The position offers extensive benefits and career development within RTX.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
• 3+ years’ experience with project management oversight of infrastructure and software development initiatives.
• 3+ years’ experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of committed projects in the portfolio. Drive processes and meeting cadences for scope management, risk and opportunity management, financial reporting, technical reviews, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications across the portfolio.
• Manage the program financials by working with controllers, financial analysts and functional leads across Digital Technology. Analyzing the data to ensure teams are delivering to plan.
• Partner with Digital leaders for resource assignments and development of integrated schedules and milestone commitments.
• Lead teams to development and implement effective risk mitigations and issue resolution.
• Lead teams to develop effective stakeholder communications.
