Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the Prime Program within the Digital Technology Program Management Office. You will partner with RTX and Collins DT leaders to align multiple business units under one governance model and drive on-time, on-budget delivery of complex systems.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time
• 3+ years’ experience with project management oversight of infrastructure and software development initiatives.
• 3+ years’ experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of committed projects in the portfolio. Drive processes and meeting cadences for scope management, risk and opportunity management, financial reporting, technical reviews, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications across the portfolio.
• Manage the program financials by working with controllers, financial analysts and functional leads across Digital Technology.
• Partner with Digital leaders for resource assignments and development of integrated schedules and milestone commitments.
• Lead teams to development and implement effective risk mitigations and issue resolution.
• Lead teams to develop effective stakeholder communications.
