Job summary

RTX’s Digital Technology Program Management Office seeks a seasoned Program Manager to oversee the Prime program, aligning strategic and functional units under one governance model. Hybrid work is supported with locations including Richardson, TX, Cedar Rapids, IA, Charlotte, NC, and Windsor Locks, CT.

The role partners with Collins DT leaders, RTX Enterprise Services, and other stakeholders to drive scope, schedule, cost, and risk across a multi-year portfolio.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time
• 3+ years’ experience with project management oversight of infrastructure and software development initiatives.
• 3+ years’ experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure effective execution of committed projects in the portfolio. Drive processes and meeting cadences for scope management, risk and opportunity management, financial reporting, technical reviews, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications across the portfolio.
• You will manage the program financials by working with controllers, financial analysts and functional leads across Digital Technology. Analyzing the data to ensure teams are delivering to plan.
• You will partner with Digital leaders for resource assignments and development of integrated schedules and milestone commitments.
• You will lead teams to development and implement effective risk mitigations and issue resolution.
• You will lead teams to develop effective stakeholder communications.
